I want to show my support for Ely in its bid to bring the 2016 Summer Olympics to northern Minnesota. I know the odds are long and time is short, but the athletic world – as well as people from all walks of life – deserve to experience the beauty and diversity of over 1.3 million acres of unspoiled wilderness that surround this special town. Please keep me informed of all the great things going on in Ely this summer and in the future as we look forward to the Games of the XXXI Olympiad.
